Walking for Good - pass notes on past walks -
2023 Donations distributed
We've been completing the distribution of the latest cheques from all the funds raised by those of you who took part in the 2023 St George's Walk.
Thanks to everyone's efforts, walking the Gower Peninsula Coastal path, covering 50 miles in three days and in a mix of all weathers we raised close to £6000.
As a result we've been able to donate £1000 to each of our 4 major charities:
- Help for Heroes
- BBC Children in Need
- The Scouting Association
- The RNLI
In addition we've been able to offer the opportunity for charities local to the walking route to apply for small grants of up to £200.
