Walking for Good
- pass notes on past walks -

Our first annual report

As a new charity, we have been getting to grips with everything we can do to make the most of the walks, the friendships and the opportunities St George's Walk can offer.

So, this year we've submitted our first set of accounts and we've been putting together our report for the year, and here's the summary of what we've been up to.

Our financial year runs until the end of May, but we've included here the donations shared from the 2023 walks. You'll be able to read more in our blogs too.

In 2022 we donated £806 to each of the major charities we support.

In 2023 this increased to £1000 each for our major charities and £1000 through small grants of £200 to local community groups and charities.

We saw a 50% increase in the number of people walking with us at our 2 major events, and welcomed lots of new people to the SGW group over the year.

Look forward to seeing and hearing from you in 2024.
